Maribel was raised in Virginia together with her parents but there are few details on the family. Maribel was enthralled with the idea of getting a law degree at the age of seven. However, after matriculating in high school she was accepted in the University of Virginia where she studied for a degree in foreign Policy with a minor in German. Thomas Jefferson, an author of the Declaration of Independence, founded the institution in 1819. The university has expanded to offer more than a hundred courses, centered in the vicinity of Jefferson's Academical Village which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This university is spread over 1,600 acres for the main campus, plus thousands more for its Research Park and Farm. Maribel continued her education through New York Law School after finishing her undergraduate studies. The next step is the Juris Doctor. Maribel Aber NYLS Law School is a private and high-end law school, with an enviable faculty. Many of them are experienced in the business world and the legal arena.
